Anyone want to play me online? i just bought it today

I just inherited a XBOX Live console .... the original owner upgraded
to an XBOX 360 Live. I just want to use this console as a media server
and store my CD (music) collection on it. When I check the specs on
the console it just says that it has 50,000 Blocks of game storage and

I started playing (and completed) Gears of War (PC) using a local Live
account. I then created a new account. I want to either move my old settings
to the new account or somehow get the old account to use the online Live
account.

I've just bought this for my twin 14 yo boys [still in gift wrapping]. For
Xbox live, can I get them each their own account using the same console? I
realize they'd not be able to be logged on at the same time. Though it would
be cool if they could  using split screen.

above the inbox on the left.   There was a red envelope marked "Spam"; a
green envelope marked "Not Spam;" a third button that I can't recall how it

can 2 people play the same online game at the same time from one console, ie

I have 2 Xbox360 consoles in the house, both connected via a router on
the Virgin Media 20 meg service (UK).  They both connect to live at the
same time no problems at all.  The issue I have is that if we try to
play the same game on Live together (eg PGR3) then it comes up with ...

I am getting blasted with sms messages from alert@live.mobile.com (9048).  I
did not sign up for it, HOW DO I MAKE IT STOP?
