I have my internet connection at one end of my house and the xbox at
the other.  I also have a second pc at the other end of the house with
xbox.  Until now, I have been using REALLY long network cords.  I
don't want to buy any wireless network adapters... but I was wondering

about to go and buy an Xbox and i want to use the Live! service. I have a

i am having the problem where i can't hear everybody's voices in the rooms.
i have a belkin router and i understand that it is not supported by
microsoft.  are there any ports that i can open/forward to solve this

I'm trying to use a Netgear ME101 with my D-Link 604+ but I'm experiencing a
lot of problems with lag (mainly playing PGR2 at the moment).

I'm trying to connect to xbox live from a small network. I plugged the xbox
into the hub, configured it like any other PC (IP, DNS etc) but it keeps
saying xbox live not found.
In the connect status window it configures the IP settings, resolves the DNS

Well, I've got a Netgear RP114. It has the latest firmware update. It has
the hack that Netgear support recommends. It just doesn't work.
Back when XBOX Live was launched, it was working fine.

Both a friend and I have rainbow six 3 and we tried to link up in a game
last night and kept getting connection refused or something.  I tried
hosting and sent him an invite, then he tried hosting and sent me an invite.
So to rule out RS3 as the problem we went into dashboard chat ...
