I'm currently connected to Live via my pc (Xbox is connected to a hub which
is connected to my PC), using ICS.
I now want to take the PC out of the equation and get a combined

Posted something earlier in the week and I managed to get Flash FXP to talk
to XBMC (so to speak).
But how the hell do I get XBMC to be my dashboard?
Tried renaming to evoxdash.xbe but it hung in startup so had to use my evox

I've connected my Xbox, via a Smoothwall V2 on the DMZ of a D-Link DSL-500,
to Xbox Live and it works perfectly. I'm guessing the 504 would work just as
well with the only difference being the built in 4 port switch.

I'm getting the error 'Could not connect to XBox Live'. It gets
through the 'cables connected', 'IP settings okay', 'DNS okay' bit but
then fails at the last step. I can ping it over the LAN, and we also
have another XBox on the network which is working fine with the same

can anyone reccomend one? and how are the buttons mapped? ive heard about

After putting in the settings code for Round 1, I played my round.  At the
end it said my scores would be posted to XSN within 30 mins.  It takes me
back to the screen showing the current players.  If I press A I start the
round again - if I was to play the whole round, would my new ...

When playing a Links tournament with a wireless controller, make sure
the batteries have enough juice to finish the game.......
The poxy controller started playing up mid-way through the round :(
I consider myself lucky to get away with a 2 under par :)

After I put in the competition name and password,
when I then try to start it comes up with the keyboard screen again.

I signed up for the UGVX Links tournament thingy.  My gamertag is "fhw5".  I
followed the instructions in here about how to sign up (i.e. copying the
password, etc), and www.xsnsports.com says I'm signed up.  But when I go to
XSN within Links 2004 the only option available is "New ...

Anyone know how to easily cancel Xbox Live?
I've just had the reminder come through, but want to cancel as I'm leaving
the country.  Can't see an obvious way to cancel through the dashboard or on
the web?
