Hi all, had my 60GB PS3 since launch and just today upgraded to HDTV. I
bought a Sony Bravia 40" 1080p ready TV, but having hooked up the PS3 via a
HDMI cable I went to set the PS3 to 1080p mode, but it always sets it to
576p.

I imagine this might have been done to death in the past so sorry for that.
I have just bought a PS2 and have loved playing Gran Turismo 2 on my
PS1, so want a newer version.
So given that newer games aren't always better then those they replace

I don't know if it's just me getting caught up in the day (I've had a
fabulous one) but I got Uncharted as a Christmas Present and I have
enjoyed it so much it's unreal. What a game! Looking forward to
playing more. Unlikely to be anytime soon as the whole family, apart

I decided to finally splash out and get a few titles I'd been
waiting for (for the right price) and got Assassin's Creed, Heavenly
