I so very nearly bought one on Friday... I was there, with my plastic in my
hand.  But one thing kept playing on my mind as I watched the demo displays
on the HD flat screens in all the shops - does a PS3 actually look any good
on a normal SD TV?

My local Asda has plenty of PS3 units in stock (and has reduced the price by
£5!) - Game also has plenty of units. The indie stores also have a load.
It seems that the whole thing has quite deservedly been a flop for Sony. I
really hope that this fiasco hurts them in a way that ...

I know this is a bit random but...
Does the original Crash Bandicoot game work fine with the PS2? I know there
are some incompabilities when it comes to older games and I'm thinking of
picking it up again...

I don't know if its my TV or the cable or normal PS3 behaviour but when I
load a game from the dashboard the TV flicks off then on the same way it
does when the TV normal switches source.
Its really annoying me and I am sure it cannot do my TV any good.

With the PS3 prices being a little too high for the time being I'm
thinking of picking up a cheap PS2 and a few games to go alongside the
Xbox and 360.
I've not had a PS2 before so I've never played a lot of the Sony exclusives.

Sony has also conducted the grand first round activity in the
FrenchParis Eiffel tower. The first round scene may hold 3,000 people,
andthe preparation reaches as high as 1,000 PS3, reporter reaches

Just had delivered a USA spec PS3 in the UK and have a few questions:
I have an oldish (5 year old) TV - the PS3 works but I only get black and
white output.  I know this is due to NTSC, I've been told if I get a PS2 RGB
Scart lead, it should work (provided TV supports RGB).
