Has anyone read anything about Sony getting off their arses to make an
*official* screen for the redesigned PS2 Slim-line...unofficially, and
widely referred to as 'PStwo'?

I'm getting increasingly curios of what the "great gameplay" that many

I made the silly mistake of miscalculating a currency conversion and was
charged the best part of £10 by the Royal Mail as their collection fee for a
smaller amount of duty - I was only 80 pence or so over the allowed duty
free limit.

Sorry if this has been posted.  Didn't see anything about it.
I don't know if this applies to UK model TVs but if so it looks like
early adopters will not get the full resolution watching either HD-DVD or
Blu-Ray DVD films.

Trying to find replacement cables for my PS2 controllers. One has got
chewed through and the other has a broken wire in it. I can fix the
damned things myself if I could find the spares.

I have an original version 1.5 PSP and haven't played any UMDs on it
yet.
If I run the UMD Demo disc on the PSP will it automatically upgrade my
firmware to version 2.0 or am I given the option of not upgrading?

I think I need the laser replacing on my PS2.
Is this a DIY task - bearing in mind I have not use a soldering iron for
about 15 years.
Or should I call for an expert to repair ?
