I've heard of blue disks being noisy before but the blue disks I've used have all been fine until yesterday when I bought Virtua Cop Elite Edition. The whining it makes when loading the different stages is terrible, gives me a headache and almost puts me in "STEVE SMASH!" mood.

I bought a pre-chipped (Matrix MXL2) PS2 recently, so that I could play import games. Katamari Damashii and DDR Extreme arrived from Lik-Sang today, but neither of them appear to play. My Japanese is awful, but they both appear to be having problems
