PS experience today31 Aug 2003 19:08 GMT8
Well I had a good day.  Was a bit disappointed with the Playstation
Experience itself.  I am not sure what I expected really, but I expected a
bit more going on, like trade stands.
Huge amount of games available to play and some of the games had huge

I want to enable my ps2 to play DVD-R backups and don't want it permanently
chipped.
I have read about the Slide-Tool and Flip Top Cover (both require swap magic
discs) and they both look OK.

help, VGA Box = blinking screen25 Aug 2003 22:11 GMT4
I just got my Lik-Sang.com Blaze VGA box, PAL version.
It seems to work, speeds up my game to 60 herz (soccer players run faster,
cars drive faster, music seems to go faster too, sounds really funny) and
the picture quality in games that support it is good.
The Great Escape25 Aug 2003 16:47 GMT7
Out this coming Friday.  It hasnt had very good reviews across the board
really, with 5-6/10 on most reviews I read.
I had hoped more from this game and although I felt the demo was a bit
clunky, I expected the game to bring much more.

Ace Combat 420 Aug 2003 10:16 GMT1
A thread in AGVS has reminded me to recommend that you all go out and
buy Ace Combat 4: Shattered Skies (released as Ace Combat: Distant
Thunder in the UK, I think). It's hard to find and quite old, but it's
fantastic. Don't just take my word for it, have a look at the reviews
Wireless controller recommendation needed19 Aug 2003 15:17 GMT2
I like the official controllers a lot. However I'm looking to get wireless
controllers that are as close (in terms of look and feel) to the official
ones as possible.
Any recommendations please?
