Fire emblem: how does it play?29 Sep 2005 13:21 GMT1
I know little about RPGs in general (just completed skyes or Arkadia on
the DC, and a bit of FF VII I think on PC) and nothing about strategic
RPGs.
However I did play a game called "Space Marines" on the amiga ages ago,

Interesting poll21 Sep 2005 09:17 GMT8
The BBC has a poll up on one of its technology pages about the revolution
controller. The poll is simply "Is the nintendo revolution controller a hit
or a miss". Given that very few people have actually touched one yet, it's
a bit of a bloody stupid question, but the results are ...

...and all that jazz.
So, somewhat foolishly, I stayed up until the speech was over and the
embargoes were lifted, and have seen The Controller.
1UP have the best story I've seen on it so far;
AC from play.com - got yours yet ?18 Sep 2005 00:28 GMT11
They say it was posted recorded delivery on Thu 23rd, its now Sat 25th
and it ain't here !  The tracking thing just says its not been signed
for - because it hasn't !
Have you got yours? If so how long did it take?
Are classic controler for the revo still needed ?16 Sep 2005 23:54 GMT3
Lots of people are worried that with only 4 buttons (A B Z1 and Z2) will
make adaptation of third party games complicated.
Then there is this interview of this chap whoever he is called (cannot find
the article anymore, was it removed ?) who says there will be an adaptor
My bet16 Sep 2005 11:13 GMT18
Is that the revolution controller simply has a d-pad and 2 buttons.
Simplicity for games, and the revolution back top the days of the NES is
complete.

Toys 'R' Us for GameCube stuff07 Sep 2005 20:15 GMT3
It would appear that a TRU will soon be opening very near me in Mos
Eisley. What are they like for GameCube games and accessories? Do they
have regular special offers? Any info appreciated.

About off-topic and revolution07 Sep 2005 13:06 GMT133
I have seen a couple of times some remarks about a few posts about DS / GBA
being off-topic.
That led me to think that may be we should apply the same rule to the
revolution and start thinking about creating a uk.games.video.revolution.
