Japan and US this winter, the game was previously exclusive to GameCube, now
it is coming to both platforms simultaneously."
Freeloader help31 Jan 2004 16:46 GMT4
Suddenly I can't get Waveracer to load in colour with freeloader.  I have
tried all three methods.  Picture only is black and white.
Anyone shed any light on this?  Freeloader 1.4 BTW.  IS this the latest?
Thanks

Zelda Discs in manchester31 Jan 2004 11:04 GMT2
yup, our store got delivered 10 zelda discs to give away with new
cubes in todays delivery, can only guess they found a few in the
warehouse hidden in a corner, as its the only lot we've seen since the
beginning of december.
Gamecube lid insert thingys30 Jan 2004 23:17 GMT2
Got my Jap/US GC today from eBay today and it all looks mint apart from one
thing that really niggles me, it has a Zelda lid insert.  It may sound like a
strange request to them, but I don't suppose Nintendo or anywhere sell
original inserts do they?
WHSmiths bargains30 Jan 2004 21:32 GMT5
Picked up a controller for ?10 and a 251 Mem Card for ?8 in the Shrewsbury
store today and they had plenty left - is this a national offer?
They also had new cubes for ?60 which has to be the cheapest around.

Sonic fecking heroes30 Jan 2004 20:49 GMT10
Sega's sonic team have lost the plot!
I dont wanna switch characters and piss around, i wanna play as just sonic,
tearing around massive levels in full 3D.  Why do they insist on sticking
tails and knuckles in there?  Sonic adventures were bad enough on the tails
The Castle of Shikigami II30 Jan 2004 19:54 GMT7
Anyone have this? I'm doing things the wrong way round here a bit as its on
its way to me already, but I just wondered if anyone has tried it/seen any
good write ups etc?? Everything I've seen written about it so far has been
positive.
F-Zero GX AAAAAAARGH30 Jan 2004 19:13 GMT24
OK, I don't remember anyone mentioning this before.
Why does F-Zero insist on retiring you if your craft leaves the track?
This is frustrating beyond words.  I just fell off the track at the last
corner of one of the races three bloody times.  Then I got to the next
Kongas30 Jan 2004 18:03 GMT8
yay I got my first 100 hits in a row.
I am happy :)
whats your best in a row? I dont like doing the ones with 4 drums or lower
as they are a bit dull. I havent really worked out the menus or anything..
RE:CV30 Jan 2004 13:00 GMT14
Is RE:CV worth getting for the Gamecube?  I still have the PAL Dreamcast
version unfinished (I never did start disk 2) but as the GC is actually a
port of the Japanese Dreamcast RE:CV Complete rather than the regular edition
I wondered if there was enough extra content to justify ...
Tales of Symphonia delayed30 Jan 2004 12:27 GMT4
Again.
"Namco has postponed the release date of Tales of Symphonia for GameCube in
US from June 30 to sometimes in Q3 2004."

[OT] Customs charges...30 Jan 2004 10:05 GMT9
...how do you pay them?  Do they ask for it when they deliver?  Do they take
credit card etc?  I thought I'd ask here as this group seems to have more
than it's fair share of importers...

NFSU30 Jan 2004 09:48 GMT4
Is there any benefit to changing cars in NFSU?  I am using the Miata and I
have all level 2 upgrades installed.  Is there a car available at race 55
that would perform better?
BA:Burnout 230 Jan 2004 09:04 GMT26
I was always a little miffed when I sold my PAL cube, not because I liked
being shat on for living in Europe, but because I had PAL Burnout 2 and
couldnt be bothered with Freeloader so I sold it.
Anyway.. it is now under a tenner (with a couple of dollars delivery) at
