Now that Sony has dropped backwards compatibility, I am curious what the basis for loyalty to Sony would be, outside of maybe people like Gran Turismo (aka first party exclusives). Can anyone explain this to me here?

I recently bought a PS3 after Toshiba announced they were dropping HD-DVD. I have a couple questions already... 1. Is it not possible to have the "dashboard" menu run at 480p while games and BluRay automatically run at 1080i? 480p is much more readable,

| Micro$hit losing a lot of money on collapse of HD-DUD | 20 Feb 2008 08:11 GMT | 6 |
Micro$quat is losing a lot of money with the collapse of HD-DUD. They did egg Toshiba on to take the brunt of the risk and Toshiba is going to pay mightily for being another Micro$quish sucker like Sega. But Micro$tupid invested quite a bit into HD-DUD also.
