Why is laggy??31 Oct 2005 14:38 GMT4
Why are PS2 online games laggy? When I play the xbox with central LIVE
server it's always SMOOOOTH.
Why the PS2 not have the dedicated servers, only crap servers by game
company? And why do I have to mess with

[A]fter Sony's recent PS2 debacle overseas, it was reported that Sony
spokesperson Reiko Sakamoto told the press, "It's hard to say the
PlayStation 3 will be 100 percent backwards compatible, but as we said
earlier this year we aim to make it so as much as possible."

No SOCOMmies?30 Oct 2005 23:49 GMT5
I still have fond memories playing SOCOM (and, to a lesser extent,
SOCOM II) with and against r.g.v.s-ps2 "regulars"--Coolwater, Massive
Grooves, Skye, etc.  Yet I have not seen a single post here about SOCOM
3.  Are y'all burned out on SOCOM, tired of cheaters, more interested

Maybe SOTC, RE4, SOCOM3?
Battlefield2, NBA2K6, BO Legends also intrigue.
Anyone know if ordering from Amazon gets you free shipping and no sales
tax?
No Guitar Hero commercials?30 Oct 2005 22:13 GMT3
I know it's a niche item and all, but somebody is missing an opportunity to
sell a lot of games. This game looks like a blast, and I'm sure lots of PS2
owners in their 20s/30s like guitar driven rock.
DVD Play~Parental Lock out.30 Oct 2005 20:54 GMT2
I just picked up a used PS2 for a back up, and tried to play a dvd
(rated R), in it...
Of course it wouldn't play, because I didn't know the Parental block
code to put in my player....
To old?30 Oct 2005 20:19 GMT25
just curious. At 40 years i wonder, if there any other players who
still spend time on a console to actually beat a game.
I know, there was somewhere a 70 year old. So i am guessing, i am not
to old ... haha
