I am considering buying a PS2 would this be a good buy? My alternative
is Xbox. Which do you feel I should buy?

   I have a Viewsonic VX900 LCD monitor (not LCD TV) for my computer,
which I'd like to use as the display for my PS2.  I've seen "VGA
adapters" that take S-video or composite input and output a signal
that is compatible with a computer monitor, but are there adapters out

 Any other games like this for the PS2? I know there are many for PS1,
and I may consider them also, but prefer PS2 due to graphics . I've been
a gamer for 20+ years, and enjoyed the "go at your own pace', great
story, and good combat

 Does anybody know of an official list of online games for PS2 ? For
example , is the first Socom still online ? Will EA Hockey 2004 be online
only until 2005 comes out ?

Is there any way to copy a PS/2 game without using a mod chip or boot
disk? I'm really confused about all the equipment/software I need to
do this.

Hey what gives - there are no other racers in arcade mode...  it's only me
against the clock.  That just plain sucks.
Anyways the cars seems smoother to handle, the music's pretty good, and the
graphics look amazing - I'm loving the small but neat touches they've added

Is there a PS2 game with a coach-only option? I want to pick the
players, call the plays, but I don't want to move players around with
my thumbs.

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but here goes.
Whenever I get the newest SD game I always create the legends and put them
in the game. As you can imagine this is very time consuming, is there anyway
you could maybe get them off the web and put them on your memory card

Anyone using that Logitech wireless PS2 controller? Is it any good?
Or is it just eaiser to throw and a bigger loss when it does get thrown?

finally broke down and got me a PS2. got the internet pack with offroad fury 2
for $149. figured that was too good of a deal to pass up.
only mistake I made was getting everquest. Then learned you can only play on
line at a cost per month oh well only out $15.

I was looking for surround sound speakers, but now I'm planning on buying a
DVD player with surround sound speakers, as it costs around the same money.
Then connect my PS2 to the DVD player.
However, the DVD players I was looking at don't have digital in - only input
