As I won the EC Championships pool at work I had some money to burn on a good wargame cause and last Tuesday evening at the club it was universally agreed that Tide of Iron, a game just a level higher than Memoir ’44, would fit the bill nicely.

Inspiration for this post was given to me last week when I downloaded an analysis of a guy who used game-ratings at BGG to see if the conventional wisdoms of the wargame (board) world held up to statistical scrutiny.
