Guns of August question29 Jan 2008 23:06 GMT3
Is it possible to run "what if" ideas about WW1 with Guns of August?
Always curious about things that might have been but some games just
can't do it.  Near as I can tell this game seems to break things down
by year and I don't know if that would allow one try some new twists

FYI we have just finished uploading the files for the latest COTA
Patch 3 to Matrix Games. Once they finish building the installers
we'll test them and the patch will be ready for release. If all goes
well this should happen next week.

This is a FREE little graphics package for creating maps or drawing on

Spoiler Alert28 Jan 2008 14:24 GMT31
Over at the Shrapnel blog Scott Krol raises the interesting question
of why a lot of people dislike hearing about the plot of a movie
before they're watching it, yet seem to want to know everything about
a game before they buy it.

Re:  Who's got time for multi-player anyway?25 Jan 2008 07:23 GMT7

hours - it's an hour in the morning if I get up early one ...

There are plenty of basics you can pick up that there's no need to pay
the extra to obtain a "design name." From the outside no ones going to
know they aren't designer and no ones going to see the label so their
a safe bet!
