Strategic command II31 Mar 2006 08:25 GMT15
So what do you expect from it? Definitively a middle of the road between
World at War and Hearts of Iron II. I would say it can be an interesting

the mammoth game of Paradox (and playing it in MP was an ...

Caveat : another Jim Cobb review :)
In all fairness I must say that Mr. Cobb has made some remarkable
comments in his review. A few quotes :

Signed Editions29 Mar 2006 23:49 GMT8
People collect the weirdest things and one thing I've noticed is how
a "personally signed by the maker/creator" has an impact. So
here's weird idea #317 : what if you could buy a wargame (box)
personally signed by the developers - would you go for the boxed

The Tactical 3D future is here28 Mar 2006 10:14 GMT3
The original Kriegspiel games were all tabletop games and it took until
the fifties for AH to start the boardgame revolution which provided a
cheaper (in money, space and time) alternative. As the computer era
dawned hardware limitations made wargames for the pc look like the
Tactical wargames for ancient/medieval battles?28 Mar 2006 05:05 GMT18
I have tended to play FPS.  I have no PC wargames.  I am interested in playing PC games which recreate historical battles using faithful/realistic geography and weaponry.  3d would be nice. Time period - ancient to 1700.  I basically want to be able to replay battles to get a ...

What makes a operational WWII game realistic?27 Mar 2006 16:04 GMT32
This is my first post in this group. I've found some GREAT content
searching here about almost everything about wargames. I'm somewhat new
to wargames and have no experience in the military. I've searching for
a operational WW2 game that would be as realistic as possible while
