can anyone recommend a pc game similar to the old avalon hill bookcase
game kingmaker (bought kingmaker for pc, ran on dos and was
worthless)game can be old or new (have a k62-500 and p4 1.8) or any
other game around the midevil times, tanx alot!

Given the advancements of technology, I figured by now there would be
an online source of "old-school" wargames that may be played by one
player either via download, or actively on the web?  Is there anything
like this at all, anywhere?  If so, are there also any good/excellent

The Military channel has two programs on thursday that might be of interest,
both titled Combat Ready. They both cover the use of wargames in military
training. The first seems to be mostly the use of computer simulations,
while the second specifically mentions the use of boardgames ...
