Anyone know what the status of this game is?  It was supposed to be
released a few days ago, but keeps getting put off (apparently).  I
want this game!

HTTR reviewed in PCGamer UK june30 May 2004 13:53 GMT6
HTTR was reviewed in the june issue of PCGamer UK and it got a mighty 80%
For ease of comparison : it was only beaten in the reviews by Perimeter
(90%) but handsomely outscored Lords of the Realm (77%) and Hitman
Contracts (75%). Compared to other "wargames" in the issue : Spartan ...
[OT] Windows Xp and Winrar28 May 2004 18:58 GMT5
I have Winrar set so that when I download a .RAR or .ZIP file in Explorer
(Windows XP SP1) they are automatically opened, and not downloaded on the
HD. I'm seem to be unable to change this, so to have the opportunity to
download the unopened file on my HD ("Save as...). Does anyone ...
War over Vietnam = Boring28 May 2004 15:51 GMT17
This is one of the most pointless games I have ever played.
I was excited about getting a campaign-level modern air game, where I
could experiment with creating the right mix of aircraft, weapons and
tactics. Instead I got a game that's so rigid that it's programming
Combat layers28 May 2004 13:41 GMT21
Most computer wargames position themselves in a certain combat layer - a
game is either strategic, operational or tactical. Very few (in fact only
the Total War games come to mind) have a mix of strategic and tactical.
The same goes for boardgames, they're designed to be played by ...
WOV:  Really *big* scenarios?28 May 2004 03:32 GMT1
In a couple of the scenarios I've played, it seems likely that the
scenario designer intended that I would return my aircraft to base, re-
arm, and send in a second wave of strikes.  I did this, got additional
strikes in, pocketed the victory points.
Why Did Hitler Not Use Biologicals In 1945 ??27 May 2004 18:13 GMT25
No doubt the Nazi's had biologicals, why didn't Hitler use them, when he
realized he was doomed ?
He destroyed even his own country with the scorched earth policy, seems
reasonable that he would have used them on the world, in a fit of rage !!
WitP going gold in a few days27 May 2004 15:29 GMT1
Or at least that's the drift from the Matrix site.
My only real question is how manageable this monster is going to be.

Soldiers: Heroes of World War II demo question 26 May 2004 22:01 GMT1
Just installed thes demo today (it play's a lot like Close Combat).   And
after trying 3x on "easy" level to complete, have failed big time.  I can
finish off the first 2 waves of Germans, but then things go south after
that.

The ideal "campaign" system25 May 2004 17:48 GMT1
Most wargames offer a bunch of scenario's often bundled in a "campaign"
system.
What would you guys think is a good campaign system ? and what are the
requirements ? forward propagation of losses ?, binary trees with alternate
