Not only did CMAK get the Turn Based Strategy Game of the Year Award but it also got a review score of 92% and a Editors' Choice award! Combat Mission Afrika Korps beat out Korsun Pocket and Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic for this highest of high awards.

As a background research for a comic-book I'm writing, I ordered "Berlin" by Anthony Beevor, the redoubtable "Berlin - Then and Now" and "Race for the Reichstag" by Tony le Tissier. As it happens, now I really would like to wargame the fall of the Reich's Capital.
