After reading some positive coments about this wargame I decided to
download the demo and give it go. I was not impressed. It's too
lightweight for my taste. I don't even see any after action reports. I
guess it may be a bit of fun as a MP game but as a SP game I don't

I want to play total war with good graphics.
That means going to ebay for a low cost card that is 100% directx 8.1 compatable
Geforce4 Ti4200 will cost about £50
any other suggestions or thoughts would be welcome.

Anyone have any luck getting the old Avalon Hill/Atomic "D-Day: America
Invades" running on XP?  I keep getting an error saying the CD isn't in the
drive even when it is.   I've patched up to 1.1, but am having no luck.  If
I remember correctly, this was a problem even back with the ...
