Just picked up computer 3rd reich from the Underdogs and was shocked by
the manual. The boardgame was one of my favorites and I don't recall it
being especially hard to learn. However, confronting pretty much the
same manual - 88 pages! - twenty or so years later makes me feel ...

The game freezes a few seconds into a battle.  I've tried lowering all the gaming settings, no dice.  I've also had my PC looked at by the shop where I bought it - they changed my processor which they found was on the fritz, but all the other hardware is fine.  Other software ...

it's not wargame but AI is great, and it is great strategy game, maybe best
this year... Infinite Interactive - same guys like SSG (they made new
company)...

This game is a gas. I am glad I discovered it, even if it is by now-
an ancient game. Come to think of it, I am glad it is ancient, as it
runs fine on my ancient computer and I got both JA2 and JA Unfinished
