After spending quite some time playing this game.. and after several 8
man LANS I am going got have to say that the Necrons are a bit over
powered.. The Tau need some balancing and the Chaos needs some of their
population caps slightly tightened.. while the IG need a buff.

Well, I've been playing this beauty consistantly for the last 7/8 months,

I'm interested in a 4X type of game. Single play. I have had previous
versions of these games and liked them all. Which game is not 'copy protect
hell' and which has the 'one more turn' feature that keeps you up all night?
Or suggest another game - not set in the future.

I picked this up during the holidays and have been mostly enjoying it.  The
real time combat is the only real sticking point.  My ships seem to spend
most of their time with their tails at the foe so that their biggest weapons
