Found this in the bargain bin for 10$ or so.  The pacing is very slow,
and you don't get too many hints about what you're actually supposed to
do, but over all this is a great game.  If you could control your
minions on missions (sort of Xcomish) and have bit more control when

GalCivII - Help: Starbase upgrade popup window is awkward. 29 Jun 2006 22:18 GMT5
Now that I have progressed a ways through my current game with a large
galaxy, I have constructors heading to many different starbases to upgrade
them.  Once they reach a starbase the popup window is displayed for my
approval and choices of modules.  But it would really be ...

All I really want to know is if this game is any good, and if I should
bother installing it.
Thanks in advance

1939 French invasion of the Saar26 Jun 2006 12:46 GMT11
Two of "The First Bliitzkrieg" scenarios deal with the possible
invasion of Germany by the French while the Germans were busy
attacking Poland. The second of these deal with a full French invasion
of Germany. It would be interesting to see whether (as German General

Dial-up Question.25 Jun 2006 14:08 GMT6
I use the internet very little. My contract with DSL expires at the
end of this month. As far as I'm concerned, dial-up is just fine
for me.
But then I started thinking about games, which I use the computer
anyone familiar to Homeworld 2 ?24 Jun 2006 20:27 GMT2
find it almost impossible to play this games because of the bugs. Missions
suddenly ends/fail without any reason. Several mouse clicking problems,
indication problems. I have to click at least 50 times on a enemy ship to
attack it.

Every single time I start this game it starts
some screen which complains about obsolete video drivers, even though I have
updated them several times. I have geforce 2. I have none of these problems
in other games. Even if I click the "dont show this message again", it
Ground Combat 224 Jun 2006 05:32 GMT2
I just picked this little gem up for 12 bucks yesterday. Managed to get an
hour or two in today, and I have to say I'm impressed! The mission (2nd one
anyone) doesn't seem to be a breeze, with the AI constantly trying to find
ways to get it's victory locations and LZ's back.

Disney's "Coaster" - best game of all time.21 Jun 2006 19:26 GMT11
Disney once made a game called "Coaster". In it you designed roller
coasters (or rollie coasters as I like to call them). These rollie
coasters would then be tested by an old woman, a young kid and some
other demographics. The ultimate goal was to design a coaster that
Warlords IV - surprise surprise21 Jun 2006 14:11 GMT22
So the game landed in the bargain bin finally and I thought w.t.f. I can spare
a 20 (20 NZ that is, about $13 in 'merican terms).
The game is actually surprisingly fun. In an easygoing, beer and pretzel
strategy game way. It's not as annoying as I remember it being from the demo.
