Heroes 5 - WOW31 May 2006 18:54 GMT39
I have to say, this game is absolutly FANTASTIC. This is what heroes 4
should have been!
And the AI, phew, I was on the demon campain, and the enemy had a

GalCiv II activiation is ridiculous....31 May 2006 13:54 GMT19
I get an email saying that 1.11 is ready, so I download it.
Only to be presented with an activation screen. This time instead of just my
serial number, it asks for my email address, too.
Jesus Christ, I've already activated the game once originally, then for the
Trouble finding HOMM 5 retail30 May 2006 14:17 GMT2
I went browsing this weekend to look for HOMM5.  Couldn't seem to find a
copy at retail.  CompUsa reports no copies in the 5 nearest stores. Neither
EBgames nor the local Gamestop had a copy (EB said they were sold out).
The local Target didn't have one either (no big surprise ...
Heroes V  scenario30 May 2006 14:13 GMT7
I bought Heroes V on Friday and played all weekend, completing the
first campaign.
I did not find it too easy nor too difficult. I am not too crazy about
the requirement to finish one campaign before taking on the next one,
Has anyone played Gary Grigsby's World at War?29 May 2006 19:50 GMT19
I was looking at this game but there is no demo. Has anyone played this
and have an opinion to share?
Anyone cool enough to play DOS wargames here?29 May 2006 09:10 GMT12
In 1994 that's what this group was all about. Thanks GOOGLE for letting
me relive those old days. It's a shame that I can't even post my real
email or name on the usenet anymore so I could  get back in touch with
some of those cool DOS wargamers.
A game is not a movie26 May 2006 23:02 GMT2
Huh?  Ten or twenty years ago, I'd have thought that sounded as stupid
as saying an elephant is not a tea bag.  But today there's so much
crossover between games and movies that the distinction needs to be
made.
Rise Of Legends26 May 2006 16:15 GMT8
Hello everyone, has anyone tried this game out yet, and does it support the
PhysX processor, as I saw on thier site that Big Huge Games is signed up to
utilise that technology.
Pirates! Attacking Towns?25 May 2006 19:57 GMT11
In Sid Meier's Pirates!, which is a bloody addictive game by the way, it is
mentioned that you can attack towns etc by land. How do you generate this?
Is it only carried out when the towns consider you an enemy? I am playing
the early game and so far havent come across this bit ...

Strategy Guides21 May 2006 06:56 GMT5
Does anybody besides me miss strategy guides like Prima's "Master of
Magic" guide?  What's the alternative nowadays?
Alan Emrich's article (link below) explains what happened to the guides
and why the ones now published are never much good.
Disciples 2 manual?21 May 2006 03:11 GMT3
I just downloaded a demo for Disciples 2 but it has no manual in the
installation.  Anyone know if a download version is available?  I
didn't find one on the Strategy First site.
warcraft3: tft key21 May 2006 00:22 GMT4
I'm not sure if its legal but if someone got bored of warcraft or played it
for too long or anything, can you please give/lend me your original cd key?
I really want to try playing it online.
If there is a good soul who wants to give it to me, please send it to my
Supply in HPS The first Blitzkrieg?19 May 2006 21:02 GMT12
Although I have read the HPS The First blitzkrieg manual, I am unable to
find any mention of how repairing railroads works. This is important,
because supplies depends on the distance from friendly railheads.
There are special units to repair railroads, but how do they work? Do
Supreme Commander looks very cool19 May 2006 13:00 GMT4
Apparently Supreme Commander is going to allow multiple monitor
display. My computer is cringing with joy.
Hopefully Chris Taylor will not overextend the game. I would rather
see less complex looking units and no emphasis on
