 Anybody got any good fansites or FAQs on this game?
 I bought the Gold Edition, published by Encore, and it didn't come with a
manual.  I get the general idea of the game but there's alot of stuff that
has me baffled.

Seeing the empty boxes of Rome Total War on the shelves (it will be out
only n September here in Canada), I decided to play MTW once again. I had
bought the Vikings add-on months ago but never played it. Also I had
trouble installing the MTW patch.

I got a 2nd HD and reinstalled Windoze on a RAID-0 config (noticeably
faster). So far I've only reinstalled four games (not counting

I am interested in joining totalgaming.net. Now, I've read variously
that owners of GalCiv can get a subscription at a reduced rate, but I
cannot find any mention thereof on the totalgaming website.
Does anybody know particulars about this?

Are they serious about this game?  Am I the worst gamer who has been gaming
for like 30 years who has gotten this bad?  What appears to be a beautiful
and lovely game with lots of purpose is like impossible to play.  First the
interface is terrible with the ability to use the normal ...

Sure seems a lot of very good games coming out of Russia these days.
Ones that I am aware of are: Silent Storm, Blitzkreig and expansions
and the latest one Soldiers: Heroes of WW2 (which is brill). Wartime

I have the building in a colony but it looks like it is grayed out.
Selecting the building does not give me the option to build.

yes Spartan does require the CD, but we've not had any problems
reported with the UK version which is what we sell through our
website.
Legion & CoW do not require the CD in the drive from memory, but each
