Well, I have been playing this for a day or so, and it seems that the combat
has changed completely...more than in just the "streamlined tactical
combat".
In Warlords 3, there were a few pairs of diametrically opposed attributes.

So what is the verdict on H&D2. I just got Call of Duty and saw some copies
of H&D2 kicking around. Any of you have it? How good is it? How hard is it?
What are the graphics and sound like? How many levels? Basically is there
some immersion with this game and worth paying retail ...

According to IGN, Warlords IV leaves out many of the things that made
Warlords III DLR one of the greatest strategy games.

Now that the page is gone, are these scenarios available somewhere else?

Hi group,
when you play a strategy game requiring "research", do you envision a
"discovery" or "experiment" type of research, or a "look it up in the
library" or "train to use it" type of research?

CtP2 is in a local bargain bin and I'm wondering if it's worth picking up.
How does it compare with Civ2/3, Colonisation, Imperialism 1/2 etc?

Got both of these games about the same time, and I'm not ashamed to
admit, they're kicking my a.s, especially in the combat mode. Can anyone
recommend sites with hints on tactics, etc? Or does anyone have any
general advice on combat?

Noticed on-line that this shipped early--today. Anybody get it
same-day-air?
I haven't played a FPS since the "Doom" demo, but I loaded this demo
from a mag disk and I can't stop playing the one mission provided.
