Huge Madden 2005 bug revealed30 Sep 2004 17:00 GMT17
Well guess what. The developers everyone seems to worship did it again.
Online and offline, if the offense calls several audibles, the defensive
adjustments cause the D-Line to FATIGUE, rendering them useless for the
play. Theyve got some really spectacular playtesters at EA huh ...

Madden CD emulation complaint24 Sep 2004 02:14 GMT9
Madden is complaning about CD/DVD emulation software and won't run
until I 'disable' it.
I had an Elaborate Bytes virtual drive but that's been removed.  I
even went so far as to uninstall the software.  And rebooted multiple

NHL 2005: Junk22 Sep 2004 06:29 GMT21
I just tried to play an IP-to-IP game, which worked decently last year, and
this year, it is the worst netcode i have EVER seen. I am not kidding. In
1996 I could play 16 people online with a 14.4 modem, and in NHL 2005, with
a DSL to DSL game the lag was the worst I had ever ...

Madden 2005 won't work...any ideas?19 Sep 2004 15:20 GMT3
This is the weirdest thing....I installed the game (all 3 discs). No errors.
When I try to play the game...the EA Sports screen comes up and then the
intro video.
When it goes to the loading screen...the little red bar goes almost to the

Madden 2005 PC...any good?17 Sep 2004 19:44 GMT2
Wow.  Didn't Madden 2005 PC come out today?  Don't really see anyone stating
their first impressions about it.  Is it that bad, or is it that good that
everyone is playing it and not posting here?
Just curious.
Using a Playstation 2 controller on the PC17 Sep 2004 16:32 GMT2
Can this be done with an adapter of some sort? If so, any recommendations? I
am considering going PC for Madden 2005, but I have never bought a
controller for the PC, so I don't know much about what's good, what's bad,
and what's ugly.

Online Football16 Sep 2004 15:39 GMT3
When you play online, or even just against a friend at home, do you move the
players around individually, especially the DL to gain better penetration?
Personally, I only use the features that allow me to adjust the formations,
but I won't take control of a DE or OLB and move them ...
Best PC gamepad?15 Sep 2004 04:05 GMT13
What's your opinion?  I tried TWO Logitech Dual Actions but they both had
faulty left analog sticks that randomly lose calibration.   I have a PS2 USB
adapter but I want something that will be easily compatible with EA sports
games (why is it that so many of the games require ...
