I've wanted a more realistic graphical football game for a while now and
this one, with all it's options and customizing, might fit the bill.

I am playing NHL 2004 online and getting my butt kicked everytime. I think
its mainly due to the fact that I cannot compete with people with the right
controller. I am missing buttons, can't manual deke, can't control hits,
etc. and its killing me!

I noticed that when you play with the historical teams, every player's
number is zero, etc.  Is there any way to "fix" this?  I'd like to
play some of the old Super Bowls, but this really ruins it for me.

Can anyone recommend a good gamepad or similar control device that would
suit this game?

dunno what I did but for some reason I can't get madden 2004 to be full
screen.  its like I hit a button or 2 on the keyboard and now its only
filling up the center of the screen.  It is playable but annoying.  Its
driving me crazy.  Please help. I turned the game off for a day but ...

I can't seem to update NHL 2004. I go to the site, it says a patch is there,
it downloads, says it installs, but when I load the game, its still version
1.02. How do you fix that?
