Dragon Age LOL (spoiler)30 Nov 2009 09:40 GMT1
I am under Orzammar, battling a boss, and my hubby comes to peek over my
shoulder to behold my sword-swinging prowess.
"What is that?"  he gasps, as he gazes in horror at my terrifying foe.
"That's the Brood mother" I inform him.
Mass Effect? Good, Bad. Ugly?30 Nov 2009 03:21 GMT8
Worth getting before ME2?
Risen ending really sucks !!29 Nov 2009 14:14 GMT14
What a shame PB had to go and ruin a great game with
the worst ending I have ever seen. I finally finished it, but
it was pure luck, and only after 20 or 30 failures. There is
no skill involved. You simply have to get lucky and jump
Mages in Dragon Age and the Psi Corp from Babylon 5.29 Nov 2009 14:09 GMT13
Just started playing a Mage in Dragon Age.  They've borrowed heavily
from the Psi Corp in
Babylon 5.  Right down to referring to non-magic uses as 'mundanes.' Not
a criticism, just an observation.

Welcome to the lost age of chivalry, where magic and myth is alive, and you
are destined to be one of the living legends: Arthur, the son of Uther
Risen $30 at GoGamer28 Nov 2009 00:26 GMT16
Just an FYI Risen is on sale at GoGamer during their newest 48 hour sale
for $30. This is what I've been waiting for!

Dragon Age:  Ranger's wolf pet27 Nov 2009 16:09 GMT14
Well, I have tried several characters out, and played most of them to at
least half-way through the game.  The only one to make it all the way to
endgame so far is my "Spirit Healer" Elf Mage.
I suppose the reason my mage got so much attention is because he is tons
Been away for a while ...25 Nov 2009 17:38 GMT6
... so I started reading unread posts oldest first:
1. Three weeks of Jonah screaming "Dragon Age is coming! Dragon Age is
coming real soon now!".
2. Two weeks of Jonah screaming "Dragon Age sucks! I am Cornholio!"
Risen hints very mild spoilers24 Nov 2009 11:18 GMT4
Ok it took me a while to reach that point but with family and baby it is
hard to play at all.
First I am in the middle of chapter 3 and so far I still like the game
very much, still feels like Gothic2 and despite becoming more linear
PC Gaming Dying23 Nov 2009 08:54 GMT85
I'm one of those guys who buys a decent PC every couple of years and
refuses to buy a separate Xbox or Wii to play games on.
Over the years just about everything I wanted to play came out on in a
PC version, but now I've noticed that's not the case.
Dragon Age Tactics22 Nov 2009 04:37 GMT9
I feel stupid.  I cannot find a way to set my melee guys to, you know,
attack the enemies they see.  They will only attack enemies that attack them
within melee range.  In other words, they DO NOT MOVE, EVER on their own
accord.  They will wait for enemies to come into range and ...
Dragon Age: who's in your party?22 Nov 2009 02:29 GMT10
In the early part of the game, it's clear that you can play with almost
any combo with success - but what about later?
My first character, a mage, surrounded himself with melee fighters, and
did very well until he started running around under Orzammer.
Dragon Age Origins on a jalopy (first impression on an Athlon XP 3200+)19 Nov 2009 17:46 GMT17
Okay, I didn't buy it yet, but my friend and I just wanted to see how bad your
machine could be and still run Dragon Age, and mine was the best candidate. So
we firewalled it off the Internet and ran his game with a crack, just to see if
it could. Hackers of the world unite (and I ...
For those that are a few bricks short and don't understanhd how publishing/distribution deals work17 Nov 2009 23:23 GMT187
Different regions have different publishers/distributors and is why
some of you can't get in on the D2D $5.00 deals. If they could legally
sell those games anywhere in the world then they would, but they can't
due to other publishers/distributors having sale rights in your
