The Current Retail Pc-Rpg Scene : Can It Get Any Worse ?01 Aug 2007 00:24 GMT222
The stagnant swamp of current Pc-Rpg's is all about the FPS perspective, clickfesting
Action, MMMMMMOOOOOORPG garbage, no more party-based play, no more isometric
view.
But look at what it's given us... a few big name games (like Oblivion) with
Gods: Lands of Infinity demo is out.30 Jul 2007 19:56 GMT46
Fans of turn-based combat can check out the demo of the game:

I'm downloading it now. I like the real time movement/ turn based based
combat combo.

Just browsing the Game$pot site for reviews & thought I'd have a quick look
at all the rpgs in score order they've ranked:

Oblivion - Knights of the Nine relic bug?28 Jul 2007 01:14 GMT2
Yeah, so, I did all the relic quests, went out and got each and every
piece of Crusader equipment.  I put off getting the Sword for a long time,
because I hate boss fights.  So I went up a few levels while carrying
around most of the earlier relics.
A question about NWN227 Jul 2007 15:46 GMT2
Can someone tell me where it keeps its saved games? I just uninstalled it and I
want to make sure it's all gone.
(It didn't get rid of its own directory, partial contents, and a few reg keys
on uninstall, and I like to be thorough.)
Those were the days27 Jul 2007 04:41 GMT125
On RpgWatch, I read the following from an interview with the people behind
the upcoming "Mass effect":
"You've managed to shoe-horn the game on to one DVD. What are the
consequences of that? Has anything had to be held back for downloadble
Fable: The Lost Chapter Qs26 Jul 2007 19:38 GMT2
Just picked up Fable: The Lost Chapters.
The No CD patches I've found are twice the size unpacked as the original
exe. Are these okay to use?
Anyone point me to a good forum for the game?
Dungeon Runners, free MMORPG25 Jul 2007 06:34 GMT8
Hosted by NCsoft, this game is free and the download is comparatively small
(about 500mb), so the best thing to do is see for yourself how the game
plays. The game's theme is somewhat of a satire on the whole MMORPG genre,
and is good for a laugh or two. The production values aren't ...

Oblivion / Shivering Isles / Knights of the Nine23 Jul 2007 17:34 GMT5
Going to install and wondered if there were any pitfalls, such as install
orders and am aware that there are two Bethesda updates. A Oblivion 1.2 and
a Shivering Isles 1.2.
Are these patches the same?

I bought the lifetime inprisnme.., eh.. subscription to LOTRO. I must saym
the game has grown on me (is that correct english?) lately. In the

was good (except for a few boring quest, but then I've never ...

Where to purchase VTMB?21 Jul 2007 16:44 GMT9
Subject says it all...  I rather enjoyed Redemption, and all the talk here
about how great the game is and how good Werner's patch is has gradually
eaten away at the little "it's a bugfest, avoid it" warnings I got early
on...  So now I must have it...  Must...  Have...  It...
