The World of Xeen29 Feb 2004 21:40 GMT39
I'm a long-time fan of the Might and Magic games 6, 7 and 8. I have read
that the previous ones were very good too but have never seen any details.
Now there's a two-disc set, The World of Xeen, up for auction on eBay and
I'm going to bid on it. My understanding is that these discs ...
Any good non-MMO RPG's coming out in 2004?29 Feb 2004 21:19 GMT24
I was just wondering - everywhere I look there are new MMORPG's coming, and
RTS with RPG-elements, or whatever.  Last year was very good, IMO - we got
KotOR, NWN:SoU and NWN:HotU, amongst others.  I know there is Dungeon Siege
2, but what else is there coming for RPG-ers?

Sacred released in Germany -- bit of a fiasco.29 Feb 2004 20:29 GMT22
This is a copy of a post I made in alt.games.diablo2.
>Also, I didn't see a single post from Michael today.
I haven't got it. It'll be here in the morning, though. I was actually
working today. ;)  I did follow the German boards, though, and so far

Has anyone tried this game from Shrapnel?  It looks like something of a
Gladiator RPG...looks A LOT like the Duelmasters PBMG which I played back in
the late 80s...a lot of fun.
Shrapnel puts out some excellent games so I was wondering if anyone has any
KOTOR or GTA : Vice City ?29 Feb 2004 04:25 GMT9

TOEE inventory problem28 Feb 2004 17:17 GMT2
I'm having a hell of a time with the inventory in this game. I can't seem to
move inventory from one character to another. Most times, I left click and it
picks an item up but then just drops it in the same sqaure or the  next one. It
takes forever to get a hold of anything. Thanks
MMORPG on 56K dial-up28 Feb 2004 04:16 GMT11
Can anyone recommend a MMORPG playable on a POTS 56K connection?  I'm
looking for something with decent customer support, and not totally
PvP based.  Pay-to-play, betas - just something playable on
non-broadband.

Newbie would like to delve deeper in PC RPGs27 Feb 2004 23:34 GMT4
I'm new to the world of PC RPG's, but I would love to delve deeper. So
far, my favorite in the genre is Ultima 7 (although I can't get it to
play properly on my PC!), and adore the level of immersion in this
title.
Divine Divinity for a fiver!!! Also framerate juddering - why?27 Feb 2004 22:57 GMT6
I've spent days on it so far and have only scratched the surface. All
was going well - then...
I went to the top right (NE) corner of the "world" and was asked if I
wanted to go to another city. I replied "yes" and found myself in the
X-Com question Not rpg but27 Feb 2004 11:16 GMT3
Is there a strategy group?
I was wondering if there is anyone working on bettering the graphics for X-Com:
Enemy Unknown.
I would love to play again but those graphics are pretty rustic.

Where are the teleportation system in Farmland? I can't find it. And I've
spoken with Marcus in Rivertown about the destroyed transport. I want to
find a cave, but I can't find it. Is it near the wishing well? Thanks for
the help. Bernt E
Gothic 1: How to enter Old Camp dungeon?27 Feb 2004 06:15 GMT2
It's Chapter 5 and I used the Fire Mage rune to enter the Old Camp after it
was barricaded. I killed every person who dared challenge me, and in the
fracas discovered a key that let me into the basement beneath the castle.
From one of the rooms in the basement I can see a large ...
