| Temple of Elemental Evil at Sam's Club | 31 Dec 2003 18:31 GMT | 21 |
At least some Sam's Club stores have the game for $16.88 or something close to that. It was just under seventeen, whatever the exact amount. A friend in another state told me he saw it at one in his area and when I bought a gift for someone at our Sam's Club earlier

| 74 yr old needs online gaming advice | 31 Dec 2003 12:19 GMT | 31 |
Have been deterred in playing on-line RPG's as under stand that there is much cheating. Also would need to play with people that would have patience with the two finger typer as I am. Any advice in games that would be like Ultima 9 / Morrowind (yes, I know it is not on-line, but ...

| ToEE progress question | 31 Dec 2003 10:55 GMT | 2 |
I'm playing a Chaotic Evil barbarian/cleric (got bored with the lawful good cleric) and I'm currently slaughtering my way through Hommlett. A couple of people have given me grief and I've had to leave alone for now, such as the drunk and the druid, but basically they're meat. The ...

| Need advice - anything out there like the old Quest games? | 31 Dec 2003 08:44 GMT | 6 |
I haven't played any role-playing games for years, but I very fondly remember the old "Space Quest", "King's Quest", "Police Quest", "Monkey Island" and "Leisure Suit Larry" games. I mean the old games you played off a floppy in the 80's, typed in commands and spent weeks

| ToEE party Alignment | 31 Dec 2003 05:25 GMT | 7 |
Does it matter what the party alignment is for ToEE? Some RPG's I've played make it really difficult if you decide to play an evil alignment.

| Er... stay away from Mistmare | 31 Dec 2003 03:12 GMT | 3 |
Some games aren't even good enough to be in the bargain bin. This is one of them. The user interface doesn't follow any software apllication conventions I know of. The mouse accelerates wildly all over the screen even with the sensitivity zeroed out... which is

| Hordes of the Underdark: Chests Won't Break Open!? Help. | 30 Dec 2003 12:25 GMT | 5 |
I'm still on the first level of the Underdark in a section that has both The Maze and Hall of the Ogre Mage in it. In one room and in a passage are two chests that I just can't bash open. I suspect something is amiss with these two chests since others bash open. These two don't ...

| TOEE: How long does Silence last? | 30 Dec 2003 11:17 GMT | 3 |
My Bard and two other characters have had Silence (duration 696/700) cast on them. It's not a big deal for the two other characters (they are fighter types) but my Bard cannot sing/cast anymore! I've tried resting but it doesn't seem to help. Am I missing something? How do I get rid ...

| BG2: Bug with githyanki attack? | 30 Dec 2003 10:50 GMT | 4 |
Ok, I'm really stuck here. I'm playing BG2 over again, just for the heck of it. I'm playing with ToB installed, which I've been told means I don't need to patch SoA itself, but maybe that will prove to be the problem. I have patched ToB. I'm running into a nasty little ...
