OT: The War on Pleasure31 Oct 2003 22:57 GMT2
Articles like these must be embarassing for the loathsome Ashcroft and
his ilk. The fact that women--and educated feminists at that--like Dr.
Susan Block love porn hardly supports Ashcroft's lie that porn
"victimizes" the supposedly "weaker" sex. Indeed, the anti-pornography

Gothic 2 before Gothic 131 Oct 2003 16:14 GMT5
I've had Gothic sitting around for a while, and never got too far into it.
The game struck me as quality, but the interface bugged me.
A)  Does Gothic 2 improve sufficiently on the first one's interface to make
it clearly better?
Fonished ToEE - thoughts31 Oct 2003 13:37 GMT8
I finished the game last night. It was enjoyable but rather easy and FULL of
bugs! It would have been nice to have fewer bugs. I was suffering from
horrid performance and really annoying pauses in the lower levels of the
Temple, however these seemed to go away after I upgraded my ...

H&D231 Oct 2003 00:12 GMT1
So what is the verdict on H&D2. I just got Call of Duty and saw some copies
of H&D2 kicking around. Any of you have it? How good is it? How hard is it?
What are the graphics and sound like? How many levels? Basically is there
some immersion with this game and worth paying retail ...
TOEE: Diplomacy, Bluff, Intimidate, Sense Motive30 Oct 2003 10:42 GMT10
Can anyone give me a rundown on when, exactly, these skills are used?
Is there any point in having someone with maxed out Diplomacy, for example?
How about Bluff? Can you get by if you don't have any ranks in one of these
skills?
[TOEE] Ranger levelling bug?30 Oct 2003 10:40 GMT2
I've got a rogue 2/ranger 4 in my current TOEE game. When he gained a
level, I tried to take a level in ranger, but the game refuses to let me.
Specifically, it asks me to choose another favoured enemy, and so I choose
evil outsiders, but it doesn't let me go on to the next step ...
3D RPG Games with a single, consistent map scale30 Oct 2003 00:36 GMT15
One minor detail that I beleive breaks game immersion a
bit is loading screens.  The only game so far that has
completely done away with them is Dungeon Seige.
The Gothics come very close (in reality, close enough
PS2 RPG recommendations...29 Oct 2003 19:11 GMT16
Anyone have a recommendation for a decent PS2 RPG? Preferably one that
supports a 2-player mode.
Can you think of a certain RPG........29 Oct 2003 02:21 GMT14
thaty would challenge the mind? Like, for someone that likes puzzles,
what RPG game would you recommend?

I was wondering if there was any word of a release date for patch that
will fix some of the many bugs in TOEE?  Does anyone know?
toee: feats27 Oct 2003 22:04 GMT5

info in manual.
Geneforge2 cripples Italy27 Oct 2003 05:46 GMT5
Geneforge2 was recently released. And on Friday, when everyone was
receiving their registration keys, here in italy everything shuts down
for a supposed General Strike. Apparently on the grounds of "pension
reform". Yeah, right... as if anyone even cares about that stuff,
