I just installed toee. I applied the nocd patch from gcw and the game seems to load just fine. I was wondering what the play disc was actually for? I know it has the manual and stuff on it but is there any required game files? thanks

| TOEE: why can you only copy some scrolls? | 01 Oct 2003 00:04 GMT | 2 |
i had Burne make me a scroll of Bull's Strength so mu wizard can learn it, but when i give her the scroll the 'copy scroll' option does not appear. it's a low level spell and she's level 8 so i can't think of why she shouldn't be able to learn the darn spell. is this a bug or

| ToEE - Rogue needed ? | 30 Sep 2003 20:55 GMT | 58 |
I am just at the stage of creating my party and I am still unsure whether or not to include a rogue. In most AD&D-based CRPGs I have played I never really had much use for the thief-like classes besides occassional lockpicking - another cleric, paladin or sorcerer seems much more ...

| ToEE and Encumberance | 30 Sep 2003 20:50 GMT | 137 |
Minor gripe, besides the game being too short and there being no difficulty setting in between Ironman and normal. They stack encumberance when they obviously should not. Where chainmail armor and your movement drops to 20 as it should. Put on chainmail boots and it

| ToEE - ogre quest.. | 30 Sep 2003 19:30 GMT | 2 |
How do I get the ogres in the cave to join the fire temple? He said I could knock em out and drag them if I had to. And I have to. It's my only option. But when I knock out the chief or kill him nothing happens, no new dialogue options, nothing.

| TOEE: Unicorn Ring? | 29 Sep 2003 23:46 GMT | 1 |
anyone know what a unicorn ring is/does? i can't seem to find it in the 3.0 DMG (and frankly i am among those who think it's really stupid to make gamers have to look this crap up in source books; bad move, Troika).

| toee - no dual wield for bard? | 29 Sep 2003 20:38 GMT | 4 |
I was able to choose 2 weapon fighting during character formation, but when I got in game it tells me there is no hand free to take the 2nd weapon. I tried removing the mandolin but same thing. Is it true that bard cannot dual wield or am I doing something wrong or have to level?

| Ultima IX: Dragon Edition | 29 Sep 2003 19:21 GMT | 20 |
Howdy all, a few quick questions here - first of all, is Ultima 9 worth playing? I've heard some pretty bad things about it - hardcore fans of the series seems to hate it, while others seems to like it... I've managed to locate a copy of the Dragon Edition (I'm a fan of the ...
