Hi I decided to dig B-17 2 out of my box of old software and give it a
go again.
I got the game up and running fine and I found my manual too,

What do you think of the flight models (physics) of both sims?
I find IL2/FB/PF/1946 WAY harder to fly than the planes in the MS flight
sims!? Shouldn't it be just the opposite? I mean, since MS Flight sims

I read Andy Mahoods re-review in the latest PC Gamer and thought I'd
pick it up.  But I remember people saying how buggy the game is
(especially CTDs).
Has most of the bugs been fixed?

Can someone tell me please where to find a complete listing of the format
used in the .pln files for flight plans?

What's out there that will work with Windows XP? After watching a few TV shows,
I want to strafe and bomb ships at sea. SPecs on the MS Combat Sim says it needs
Windows 2000. Will XP handle it? Or other sim options? Thanks much.

This is from an old timer that still hears "Range 21" and "Apex
Inbound" when I think of Falcon 3.0.
Did anyone ever rip the audio samples and FLI/FLC animation format (I'm
not 100% on the accuracy of this!) from the binaries?
