OK not a flight sim I get that part. How about the technical expertise
involved with getting it to run without crashing on a P4 3.06Ghz with
HT, 1GB ram and an ATI X800. Ditto for system shock 2.
Falcon 4 and MS Combat sim 2 seem to be OK. I am assuming

I am trying to connect online to play il-2...

I'm hoping Santa will bring me a trackir3 pro tonight.  Currently I have
Falcon4 installed with the BMS 2.0 patch but I understand that FF3 has track
ir support built in.  I also understand that FF3 is sort of the defacto
standard right now.

On FS2K2 I have installed two controls:
(1)  MS Sidewinder Precision Pro (USB) joystick and,
(2)  CA Pro Pedals (USB).
Rudder control with these two beasts fighting each other has been my main

Does anyone else have this problem? I have installed the game with and
without patch. Whenever I try to run it says to insert cd. I have tried both
cds. It says the cd is not available and errors out. Please help me.

Preview of the eagerly anticipated Silent Hunter 3 sim. Not a flight sim but
brilliant nevertheless! I originally bought a PC in order to play games like
Silent Hunter - this game looks like it may even reestablish my interest in
computer sims. Shame theres no flight sims around ...
