I was trying out a demo of Syberia (part 1 for pc) but everything is running in extreme slow motion. For the full version is a patch available, but for the demo there seems to be no patch (pentium 4 ht problem). Is there a way the solve this problem? Thanks for any help.

Demo came out yesterday. The size is about 325 meg. After installing, the game refused to run, giving me an error message about a missing DirectX9 file. The readme file suggested that DX9 should be reinstalled during demo installation, as newer updates may
