Myst V - End of Ages  / Supported OS     maybe more than listed30 Sep 2005 19:43 GMT1
Myst V has just hit the shelves in my area so there may not be many
playing it yet. I bought it without carefully reading the "Supported OS"
listing and was pissed when I saw my Win98SE was not supported. Not only
that but 512Meg memory was recommended and I have 256Meg. Hmmm, do ...
Syberia 2 problem in Bink (bik) videos with Matrox G40029 Sep 2005 11:55 GMT2
In the past I have played with Syberia adventure. All good. Now, with
the same hardware (Pentium II, 512 MB Ram, Matrox G400 16 MB) I'm
trying to play with Syberia 2. All good, except the movies (in bink
format) that I can hear but not see, if not at times and in hopping
fixing bad screensavers29 Sep 2005 02:05 GMT1
I installed some extra screensavers that weren't installed by default with
my Mandrake 10.1 Powerpack. I was bored with the 10 or so
screensavers that installed by default. The problem is that none of them
work as screensavers, though I can see what they look like using the
Got Nibiru28 Sep 2005 11:29 GMT30
Got Nibiru today at EB. I haven't had a chance to install it yet. No one
answered my post from last week when I asked if anyone bought it yet.
Paula, what about you? You always said how much you
liked Black Mirror and its from the same developers. The artristry was
Indigo Prophecy demo--wtf?26 Sep 2005 23:25 GMT10
Playing the Indigo Prophecy demo.  Using keyboard and mouse, what exactly is
the 'Use' key?  It doesn't list one in options when you try to set up the
controls.  Basically, all I seem to be able to do is walk around.  It seems
to cue me that there is something in my vicinity that ...
"Impossible" game puzzles comment survey, specific Voyage ref.25 Sep 2005 20:17 GMT3
I just finished Voyage and would like to see what other readers in this
group feel about it and similar games. Namely that some puzzles can't be
solved by any logical process and some would be impossible for hearing
impaired players. Let's take Voyage as an example.

A small review. The game is done by an austrian artistic group
and it plays in a rural austrian area, which in the game is basically
suggestions please19 Sep 2005 16:48 GMT5
I just finished Syberia and Syberia II and I really enjoyed these games.
I don't like timed puzzles or very difficult ones like in the Myst series so
I found this 2 part game very enjoyable.  Can anyone suggest other games
similar to this?  I am an adult female running Windows XP.
Completed Bone - dissapointed19 Sep 2005 14:17 GMT3
I downloaded bone when it became available on friday night and have just
completed it. I have to say that i am dissapointed in this game as i had
been looking forward to it for ages. The puzzles (if you can call them that)
are way too easy and the action sequences are pointless and ...
Bone demo19 Sep 2005 14:08 GMT9
Here's a demo of the game based on the "Bone" comic book series by Jeff
Smith.  Graphics look pretty nifty as does the voicie acting from what I've
seen from the trailer.

Is Indigo Prophecies (Fahrenheit) out yet?18 Sep 2005 11:51 GMT5
It should be by now but who knows....  was it 9/14 officially?  cant

I've been waiting for this game ever since I saw a preview at a store a
couple of months ago.  Very intriguing story, characters and gameplay
Nibiru saved game17 Sep 2005 14:18 GMT14
Hi, I'm enjoying the game except for this one puzzle.  Could someone
send me a save game right after the Colored balls puzzle.
Thank You
Joan
Indie / Freeware Adventures16 Sep 2005 11:43 GMT18
Can you guys make any recommendations and/or links to some independent
and/or freeware adventures in the Lucas Arts or old school Sierra
style? I seem to recall that there are quite a few adventure-maker
tools out there and have been out for a while so I'd be surprised if no
Running RealMyst under XP Pro SP2 - missing Indeo codec16 Sep 2005 05:32 GMT2
As we're approaching the end of an adventuring era, I am collecting
every Myst game in existence. I have just acquired RealMyst and am
attempting to run it under a fully updated (with latest drivers) XP Pro.
However, on initial running, it complains about a missing Indeo codec.
