| dual boot advice please | 31 Mar 2005 00:59 GMT | 5 |
I'm putting in a new hdd and want to partition it and have a dual boot. I understand that the first OS to install is the lower system and the second would be XP. So, my question is - if my purpose is to continue playing older games, should I install W95 or W98 or DOS 6.22? Thank ...

Does anyone remember what Computer Gaming World's adventure game of the year was? I saw it, but cannot remember what it was and I wanted to pick up a copy based on their review, but I obviously can't if I can't remember what it was called :)

| Tim Schafer says Graphics Killed Adventure Games | 30 Mar 2005 02:40 GMT | 8 |

| Adventures for less than 20 quid? | 29 Mar 2005 17:56 GMT | 25 |
I was given £20 of MVC vouchers for Christmas. I've had a quick look on their site and it seems they've got both Syberia games for £17. Hopefully they'll have it in stock in my local shop, although the vouchers are valid in Woolies too.

I've dug out my copy of Mission Critical (old DOS game by Legend) and have run into a crash bug on deck 2. According to a few sites I've managed to find, there was a patch for the game that fixes this problem, but I haven't been able to track down a copy of it online.

| Finished the Secret of the Silver Earring and nothing to play | 22 Mar 2005 16:33 GMT | 24 |
I finally got to finish this game. I didn't get to play for a long time but finally got some time to get back to it and finished. I was much closer to the end than I thought I was. It seemed to be a very short game to me. I enjoyed it although not as much as I enjoyed Rose ...

Does anyone remember this game? I believe it came out in either 92 or 93 and we played it probably in 95 or so. I recently pulled out my old Dell Pentium P100, blew off the dust and booted it - actually hoping it would still boot - so I could go back and play some
