Recently I bought a Windows PC and video projector to watch TV and movies.

We got stuck at "Other worlds" with the screwdriver.
We made it to the mansion.  We deciphered the hint on
the Buddha statue, we got the key for the trapdoor,

 It seems I get stuck in an endless circle at the begining;   the box-like
icon to the scroll puzzle back to the box and on and on.  Is it something
I'm not doing or have I found a bug?  I'm sure you can help me find some
simple thing I've left undone or something.
HELP: Running Sherlock Holmes, Case of the Rose Tattoo in Win 9823 Dec 2004 14:06 GMT2
Just got a copy of Rose Tattoo, but when I go to install it I get an
error message (something about VESA video...sorry I didn't get it
exactly), and the thing crashes trying to run DOS mode (I think).
Anyone had similar experiences and able to offer suggestions?

This is quite a nice game -- a traditional adventure. One reviewer
compared to Nightlong: Union City Conspiracy. A good comparison.

The genre of "totally surreal, completely unexplained puzzle game" is common
in text adventures, but not so common in the graphical world. I suppose if

Just replayed Sam and Max on the weekend using the Scumm VM emulator. Set
graphics to 3X. Graphics look great with no jaggies. The game is funny on so
many levels. How long are we going to wait for another to tickle our funny
bones..........

On the cipher cheat sheet that you get from your sister on Mars, it says
that the trigram "ahe" has a code of 223.  On the next page, it says it's
224.  224 is the correct number.  Unfortunately, I spent a long time trying
to figure out how the cipher worked based upon the 223 ...
