Broken Sword I - WinXP30 Nov 2003 16:21 GMT5
How do you install BSI when running WinXP?  The install program won't
recognize my C: drive.  Hope this is a common and known problem.
Thanks!

I didn't find the ending very satisfying - too many unanswered questions...

Uru help?  "That Puzzle" *grin*30 Nov 2003 00:09 GMT2
Andrew? When you were reviewing Uru, you mentioned "That Puzzle."  I think
I'm there, and I'm up for any tips you (or anyone else) might have, because
my patience is low for this type of thing... *grin*

Broken Sword 3 won't run!29 Nov 2003 17:20 GMT1
I bought 'Broken Sword 3' this morning (yippee!) but there seems to be no
way I can run it (odear!) It installs fine but when I click on the play icon
the screen loads with nice music, floating graphics but gibberish text and I
can't proceed.  What a disappointment! My PC appears to ...
Conspiracies - load time29 Nov 2003 06:36 GMT4
I need to hear from someone who has played Conspiracies to know if the
excessive load time is the game or my computer.  It takes about 5 minutes to
load the option screen and then a like amount to load the saved game.  One
time it took more than a half hour because the program kept ...
Another URU question29 Nov 2003 03:10 GMT3
Since there seems to be a few regulars here that are playing URU, just
though I
would ask a question.
I'm currently playing with the demo and no matter what I do, I can't get the
Mean Streets and Martian Memorandum28 Nov 2003 13:00 GMT1
Where can I find these two games? I'm in the mood for some classic Tex
Murphy. I sure do miss good ol' Tex. Wish Microsoft would loosen up
and let Access make another one. : /

GeForce FX 560028 Nov 2003 12:58 GMT11
Earlier on in the week I asked about whether the GeForce FX 5200 would play
FFXI, KOTOR, GTAIII, GTA:VC, Neverwinter Nights and Call of Duty. (Some of
them I just added). Well when I was at a local computer store he said that
for an extra 60 bucks (CDN) I could get the FX 5600 256mb ...

It would be nice to try the old Level 9 adventure games such as Snowball.
Have the authors have released them?
Has anyone has ported them to run on a PC?
I have the originals on BBC micro disc, and an old BBC micro which may

Blair Witch Games27 Nov 2003 08:05 GMT1
Did anyone else out there enjoy the Blair Witch games? I didn't care for the
maze of the forest in the first one and there may have been too many
fighting scenes but overall, I think these were solid adventure games.
Conspiracies - game sprawl26 Nov 2003 22:37 GMT5
I just got Conspiracies and am astonished to read that it wants 30GB of hard
disk free space to play in! And here I was, not too long ago, thinking that
a 400mb hdd would be the last I would ever need because that was more than
enough space!  Imagine that!
