I've seen a couple blurbs about Windows 8 having a gaming download
service built right into it. If they actually follow through with it,
I hope its better than the abortion know as Games For Windows Live.

I've downloaded the "SMRTER" mod for STALKER Call of Pripyat. It's
meant to introduce new weather systems and improve the graphics all
round (something that I am really keen on achieving).
I'm a bit put off by the warnings in the 'readme' though. The

I bought Clear Sky when it first came out but couldn't get into it at
the time. The annoying timed missions put me off as did the poor
performance on my aging system. I decided to wait until the 'Complete'
mod was released before trying to play it again.
