I'm pulling really intermittent framerates in Doom 3 Resurrection of
Evil. I've set all the graphics to minimal, and the resolution to
640x480, but when I watch the in-engine intro the framerate goes from
a solid 60fps in some sections to 40fps in others, and in some, 7fps!

So there was me, thinking that as this game is the latest offering
from those stalwarts of crap games, City Interactive, using the
original Chrome engine, selling for £4.99  (around 7 USD?) at release,
that it absolutely has to be a stupendously sh.t game.

It's been a while since the last thread.  I thought it would be released on
