Gamespot Far Cry 2 hands-on preview30 May 2008 22:00 GMT4
After hearing this was going to be a console release, and seeing the
video in the town (looked like a very small, constrained environment)
for Far Cry 2, I had kind of lost any hope of it being like the
original.

using, and the Metal Storm logo.  Where have I seen these?
Complete History Of Open World Games29 May 2008 22:14 GMT4

looking at a link to the web page for something else.
I love games that let you explore and try different things, and there
seem to be a lot of STALKER, Oblivion and Far Cry fans here who might
Need a new FPS, suggestions?29 May 2008 20:39 GMT27
I just finished the excellent STALKER and still have an itch for some FPS
gameplay.  There's a few options out there that I haven't played but I'm
not sure which to go for.
Here are some of the obvious candidates I can think of:
Mass Effect... Anyone snag it yet?29 May 2008 05:05 GMT2

Steam: A random and paranoid thought.28 May 2008 18:00 GMT7
Looking through the "My Games" list on Steam led me to wondering about the
probability of somebody else having the same list of games and mods.
I've bought over 40 (I think it's 44) games and have around 30 mods
installed.
Steam, Gametap, downloaded games get fragmented28 May 2008 14:00 GMT13
The problem with Steam and Gametap is that, but trickle-downloading
games over a long period whilst multitasking, they become very fragmented
which affects game performance.
If I download a game from Gametap specifically, the game arrives as one
ArmA: Armed Assault28 May 2008 11:13 GMT15
The reason I haven't been playing COD4 or BF2 is because they are too
much like arcade games with all the foolish jumping/ducking 'nading
going on.
I heard about ArmA and found an old threat about it from late '07.

different gametypes need different gaming rigs24 May 2008 16:20 GMT22
I hear many cries and boasts from people on forums that they bought
(or going to buy) a large LCD monitor -- 22", 24" or even 30". This
probably supposed to mean that they are going to get an extatic/
orgasmic gameplay experience. Not so fast, I thought.
