Dark Messiah Might and Magic30 Jun 2007 23:52 GMT1
Just bought this for around £13 on Steam.
Very impressed so far - a bit like Thief in many ways I think. I didn't buy
it originally because I was worried it would be all about casting spells -
which I hate.  I'm maybe 5 hours in and so far that doesn't seem necessary

M, no duh. But it's through that process, so I s'pose it's ready to roll. :)

Soldier of Fortune sequel?29 Jun 2007 08:34 GMT7
Blues News reports that EB Games
(http://www.ebgames.com/product.asp?cookie%5Ftest=1&product_id=647097) has a
listing for a Soldier of Fortune game for the PC due on 11/13/07.  While I
wasn't that into the original, I know it has it's fan base.
Now PIRATES take photos of their crimes29 Jun 2007 01:07 GMT16
How much lower can this group go?
Not only you see PIRATES publicly admitting PIRATING PC Games, you see
them bragging about it, and now they have the nerve to take a photo of
their illegal copy! taking photos of their crimes!
I thought CS:S came with HL2 free?28 Jun 2007 23:27 GMT12
I was talking to a friend of mine (who bought HL2) who does not see
CS:S listed in his list of games with Steam.  I never paid for CS:S,
it just allowed me to install it free.
Why the difference?  Does he have to pay $20 if he wants to play CS:S?
Check list before buying Retail PC Games (New Factory sealed)28 Jun 2007 23:07 GMT16
Due to someone trying to use the excuse "I was fooled" (which btw I
don't believe) in "buying" an illegal copy of a PC Game, I decided to
create this quick list of what every PC Gamer should follow before
buying a PC Game New Factory sealed

How to get 1:1 to work on a Gateway fpd2485w ?28 Jun 2007 04:20 GMT4
I have a Gateway fpd2485W monitor which works pretty well, overall I
am happy with it, but I cannot get the 1:1 setting to work.
Unless I am wrong on this, the idea is if I change to another
resolution other than the native 1920x1200, and then enable 1:1, I
Anti-Aliasing can be used with Alpha Prime27 Jun 2007 18:43 GMT10
Someone has asked a couple of days ago about  no Anti-Aliasing in
Alpha Prime and its correct the game has no build in support at least
for now cause there is the possibility of a future patch being able to
add it but nevertheless there is still a way to have AA in Alpha Prime

for XP but I can't get them to work.
Anyone else have this problem?

Latecomer to STALKER27 Jun 2007 12:58 GMT5
OK, so I saw the posts about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. a while back and thought "Ho
Hum.  Doesn't sound like my type of game" and didn't bother further with
it.  Recently I played it on a mates' machine and realised I was
mistaken.  Silly me. :p  So now I've bought a copy.
