You know, I don't know why I always capitalize the month in my subject line of these threads. Oh well, moving on. The game is the same. What you've played over the last thirty days, and maybe some thoughts about them. Or not. PC, console, board-game,

| HDR vs Anti Aliasing | 29 Nov 2006 19:10 GMT | 55 |
I just played through both demo's of "The Mark" once more this morning. Once again I was struck by the bizarre contrast between lovely and awful graphics all rolled into the same game. Not just in different levels, but in the same levels throughout the demo's.

Well thanks to Rob, I decided to give HL2 another go with my new hardware. Well it sure as hell makes a huge difference now that I can run the game at 1280x1024 4xAA,16xAF! I played and finished it when it first came out, and I had to deal with the

| Quake 4 and Dual Core | 27 Nov 2006 07:26 GMT | 34 |
I know this is an old game, but the latest patch lets the game take advantage of dual core chips if you have one. The game is new to me, and I'd installed the patch when it came out last month. But what I just discovered today is that there's a new check box in the setting that ...
