| Demise of E3 is a good thing | 29 Sep 2006 02:52 GMT | 3 |
I think its good that a game publisher's primary advertising medium will consist of releasing a playable demo. Too many times I've seen reviewers coming away from E3 ranting and raving about a game, only to be disappointed when it hits the streets.

| Just Cause UI | 28 Sep 2006 20:47 GMT | 5 |
Perhaps this is indicative of a rushed release. Has anyone else noticed the rather clunky UI? The lack of mouse support in the menu screens, including the Map/Extraction/Drop area, for one thing. And why do I have to guess which weapon I have selected when I'm using a

| Single player fans - why not multiplayer? | 28 Sep 2006 19:09 GMT | 78 |
It seems this group consists mostly of fans of single player games. Personally I have played very little single player action games since I first got high speed internet 8 yrs ago. I'm not looking for a flame war here, I'd genuinely like to understand

| Anybody played the "El Matador" demos yet ? | 28 Sep 2006 19:06 GMT | 10 |

I've been trying to play Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy on my current PC, but one thing it doesn't seem to cope well with is a widescreen monitor. Are there any fixes available to allow it to run in a widescreen resolution?

I mean common, it's not like they are going to make a decent game with it or anything. Far Cry was appalling.

| Steam is really pissing me off | 27 Sep 2006 05:03 GMT | 27 |
Anyone here buy X3:Reunion via Steam and then try to restore it from backup? The POS stalls at Disk3 1083/4165mb and then tries to get the rest of the game via Steam download. I found if I had it update and then run the backup install again it would get to disk4 and then stall again ...
