Amazing ! And according to the dev the 360 version will be identical !

Demise of E3 is a good thing29 Sep 2006 02:52 GMT3
I think its good that a game publisher's primary advertising medium
will consist of releasing a playable demo.  Too many times I've seen
reviewers coming away from E3 ranting and raving about a game, only to
be disappointed when it hits the streets.
My confession of piracy29 Sep 2006 02:05 GMT10
To oc games:
My consience does not allow me to continue participating in this NG
without posting my confession, so I am coming forth with a bit of a
piracy confession myself.
STEAM is Right-Wing28 Sep 2006 20:49 GMT19
Finally the issue of politics in STEAM
This all came about when someone asked me if I was a
republican only cause I'm against piracy...
So republicans are against piracy? and Democrats aren't?
Just Cause UI28 Sep 2006 20:47 GMT5
Perhaps this is indicative of a rushed release. Has anyone else
noticed the rather clunky UI? The lack of mouse support in the menu
screens, including the Map/Extraction/Drop area, for one thing. And
why do I have to guess which weapon I have selected when I'm using a
Single player fans - why not multiplayer?28 Sep 2006 19:09 GMT78
It seems this group consists mostly of fans of single player games.
Personally I have played very little single player action games since
I first got high speed internet 8 yrs ago.
I'm not looking for a flame war here, I'd genuinely like to understand
Anybody played the "El Matador" demos yet ?28 Sep 2006 19:06 GMT10
Was handed a copy of the demo DVD at my local EB today (retail does
have its uses). Have just played through the tutorial and started the
demo mission; the game looks somewhat interesting.  Claims to be a
cross between Far Cry and Max Payne ( bullet-time), set in the jungle

Jedi Academy in widescreen?27 Sep 2006 23:15 GMT2
I've been trying to play Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy on my current PC, but one
thing it doesn't seem to cope well with is a widescreen monitor. Are there
any fixes available to allow it to run in a widescreen resolution?
Does anyone honestly care about Crysis?27 Sep 2006 15:06 GMT32
I mean common, it's not like they are going to make a decent game with
it or anything.
Far Cry was appalling.

Steam is really pissing me off27 Sep 2006 05:03 GMT27
Anyone here buy X3:Reunion via Steam and then try to restore it from
backup? The POS stalls at Disk3 1083/4165mb and then tries to get the rest
of the game via Steam download. I found if I had it update and then run
the backup install again it would get to disk4 and then stall again ...
Is Game Playing Addictive?26 Sep 2006 06:23 GMT15
Recent articles appearing on the TechNewsWorld
website seem to be directed at the conclusion that
playing video and pc games is addictive and harmful.
The series of articles seem to lead toward a
