Battlefield 1942 w/Gamepad31 Oct 2004 20:43 GMT5
I picked up an Xbox-like gamepad today, and am working on getting it
to with with BF1942, so far so good, however; I can't seem to get the
mouse control in the game, the one that allows aiming, to recognize
the thumbsticks on the gamepad, is there a way to get it so I can use
bloom and high dynamic range lighting31 Oct 2004 20:07 GMT2
I'm no graphics expert, but I'm surprised that people are getting in a

CS:Source first impression31 Oct 2004 16:11 GMT19
I succumbed to be the groups guinea pig and bought the HL2 silver
package after an hour of the Steam server getting hammered. It all
went swimmingly and I am really enjoying CS:Source, I never got into
CS before as the graphics were too dated for me, but this looks great
OT:  Newsweek CGI article "polar bear express"31 Oct 2004 15:18 GMT37
For the curious, Newsweek just did an article on the new movie, "Polar Bear
Express".  It's 100% computer graphics and is supposed to be cutting edge.
At one point the article states that we are two years away from being able
to generate photo-realisitic human images on the big ...

FarCry: No more firing after a few shots29 Oct 2004 15:56 GMT2
I have an odd problem after installing SP2.
FarCry used to run fine on my system. I haven't played for a few weeks
and installed Windows XP Service Pack 2. Now, after I start a new
game, I can only fire a few shots in the training sequence, and that's
