 I got this in the mail today.  It seems to work OK.  I uninstalled the
Detonator drivers from my computer, but otherwise did not use Detonator
Destroyer or anything like that..  One wierd thing is I was using Powerstrip
to try and set up some custom timings for my monitor and it ...

Would like to go ALITTLE FASTER, i mean theirs and alien behind me
biting my butt i would go faster ?

I have just started into the "Dam" level, I have the buggy, but am
having a problem. The lava is blue, and I keep getting crashes to a
black screen, The rest of the game played ok. I am running the latest
drivers (cat 4.4) from ATI, and have changed nothing to cause this

The article is interesting although there is no mention about what build
their playing and how close the game is to being done. The screen shots are

  The Radeon X800 Pro is CPU bound in most "older" games like Unreal
Tournament 2004 or Quake engine games, and doesn't really deliver much
performance over the Radeon 9800.   It also is CPU bound in flight

I just watched this HL2 footage, and even though it is very low res
and shaky, it still shows how great this game should be, the
environmental interaction is amazing.

Odd one this. Strikes me as being like Painkiller insofar as it's
utterly on rails and has a bonus system for headshots etc. Much slower
paced though. Uses the Unreal engine AFAIK with the obligatory Havok
physics. Looks nice enough. No midlevel saves, checkpoints or anything.

Iam doing as iam told turning off all the steam vents things i get 3
of them and the locator shows the same one i think the third one and i
have already turned that one off ?
