Nothing terribly new here. He gave it 8.3 out of 10.
Cons:
* Poor character animations, risable ragdoll physics;
* small levels, frequent loading, especially in "the city";

F**k off to an RTS newsgroup with that, I hear you say. But wait! Since you
can manually control all units it falls under the action category too IMO.
I like it, and the only two RTS games I ever played were Dune II and the
original C&C. Great GFX, explosions, blood sprays and so on ...

Given all the comparisons between Painkiller and Serious Sam (a game I
thoroughly disliked), I wasn't expecting much. But having played through
most of the first Painkiller demo, I gotta say it's a blast! Great graphics
and sound effects, some genuinely scary elements, and non-stop ...

In preparation for DoomIII and Half-life2 later this Summer :-)

My Gigabyte motherboard's on - board sound is supposedly a Soundblaster 128
chipset, so I have been reluctant to replace it.  But sound problems were
common in many games, and I was getting crap vid performance in Far Cry as
well.

UT2004 keeps crashing at random times during gameplay. It usually just
